Voilà c'était ce week end, Kim Pointcom a (re)lancé Mega(Upload).
Une fête énorme, des chiffres annoncés impressionnant, 1 million de comptes créés selon les organisateurs et un site plutôt propre en ligne.

Le lancement de Mega est l'étape obligatoire pour un retour aux affaires de Kim mais il faut bien admettre qu'à aujourd'hui pour l'utilisateur final l'intérêt est relatif. Sauf bien sur pour les 200 personnes qui ont besoin de 50Go de stockage dans le cloud.
Cela va devenir intéressant avec l'arrivée des contenus. Ceux qui avaient fait le succès de MegaUpload.
D'un coté, l'offre "légale" annoncée par Kim Dotcom qui doit permettre de voir et écouter de la musique et des films sans limite pour quelques $ par mois.
De l'autre, les opportunistes du piratages qui vont mettre en place des méchanismes subtils pour prendre de l'argent en échange de contenus copyrightés.
Comme très souvent, nous ne pouvons adopter qu'une posture, attendre et voir ce que ça va donner.
